However, men and women continue to take part separately in the professional tournaments. The reason for this is, among other things, the lack of muscle strength for the women to be able to keep up with the long distances of the men.
The beauty of golf is that it is a collaborative sport.
In principle, golf can be considered one of the few sports that allow women and men to play together.
Many female golfers refrain from spending more time on the green simply because there is a lack of like-minded people in their circle of friends and acquaintances who are interested in golf, or because it is difficult to return to the game after a breakup with a partner.
